Bat Plush Free Crochet Pattern – Amigurumi

When the leaves begin to change and there is a cool breeze in the air, I know it’s time to make as many fall crochet projects as I can. In years past, I’ve made many crochet pumpkins, candy corn, no-sew ghosts, and even a pumpkin spice latte plush! This year, I knew I wanted to create cute bat plushes and that I wanted to share them as a free pattern for you 🙂 I hope you love making them as much as I did!

For this pattern, I used Premier Parfait Chunky yarn (which is my favorite yarn) for a soft pastel look. Click here to get Premier yarn for this project. If you enjoy this pattern, please give me a follow on social media and let me know what other free patterns you would love to see! Also, don’t forget to tag me in your creations on instagram. Happy crocheting ðŸ™‚

If you are more of a visual learner and prefer video tutorials, I have a full youtube tutorial for this pattern. Scroll to the bottom of this pattern for the youtube video!

MATERIALS & TOOLS

ABBREVIATIONS

  • CH – chain
  • SC – single crochet
  • INC – single crochet increase (2 SC in each stitch)
  • DEC – decrease (I use the invisible decrease in all of my creations for a cleaner look)
  • HDC – half double crochet
  • DC – double crochet
  • FO – fasten off
  • Magic ring – Make a loop, leaving a long tail to work with. Insert hook in the center of loop, yarn over, and draw up a loop. Yarn over, pull through to make the first chain (this does not count as a stitch). Continue to crochet over the loop and tail with the number of stitches called for. There are many wonderful YouTube videos on how to make a magic circle if you are a visual learner! Always move your stitch marker to the last stitch in the round.

THIS PATTERN IS WORKED IN CONTINUOUS ROUNDS.
