When I created the Log Cabin Pattern, I knew that I wanted to create tons of decor pieces to go along with it. When I think of a log cabin and the woods, I automatically think of camping and sleeping under the stars. This camping scene includes patterns for a tent, hammock, campfire & lantern.

Materials Needed
-Yarn (I used medium acrylic yarn, mostly Red Heart brand) Colors: yellow, white, green, burgundy, dark brown, light brown, red, orange
-Felt (green, pink, blue)
-White thread
-Craft Wire
-4.0mm crochet hook
-Cat fur brush (for fire)
Tent
in yellow (make 2)
- ch 21
- starting in second ch from hook, sc 20 across (20)
- turn, sc 20 (20)
- sc around for 20 rows (40)
- flatten work, sc 10 across to join sides together
sew tops of 2 pieces together & fold to create tent
Back of Tent
in yellow
- ch 21

fo, leave tail and sew back of tent onto folded tent
To create the pennants, cut felt triangles out of green, blue and pink felt and string them together with a piece of white string. Attach to tent as seen below.

- trim & shape
-glue logs together, place fire in middle

-sew bottom, legs and sides of hammock together, use craft wire to reinforce and shape as seen below
-cut 16 strands of white thread and attach hammock to stand by tying them onto white section of hammock, as seen below
