Cinnamoroll is a popular character created by Sanrio, a Japanese company famous for creating iconic fictional characters like Hello Kitty and My Melody. Cinnamoroll is a small white puppy with long ears and is known for his sweet and friendly personality, as well as his ability to fly through the air using his long ears. He first appeared in Japan in 2001 and has since become a beloved character around the world. Back in February, I made a Valentines-themed Hello Kitty crochet pattern. Ever since then, I have been enjoying creating other cute Sanrio characters. If you are a fan of these cute characters, be sure to check out my Hello Kitty, Keroppi and My Melody crochet patterns as well. For this pattern, I created an optional cinnamon roll for Cinnamoroll to hold, just because I thought it would be cute.
For this pattern, I used Premier Parfait Chunky yarn for a soft pastel look. Click here to get Premier yarn for this project. If you enjoy this pattern, please give me a follow on social media and let me know what other free patterns you would love to see! MATERIALS & TOOLS
- Yarn: Premier Parfait Chunky (Size 6, Super Bulky) in white, tan (toffee) & cream
- Crochet hook (Size 6.0 mm)
- Polyfil – fiberfill stuffing
- Felt for details (blue & pink)
- Fabric glue
- Yarn Needle
- Scissors
- Stitch marker
- Sewing pins
ABBREVIATIONS
- CH – chain
- SC – single crochet
- INC – single crochet increase (2 SC in each stitch)
- DEC – decrease (I use the invisible decrease in all of my creations for a cleaner look)
- SLST – slip stitch
- FO – fasten off
- Magic ring (MR) – Make a loop, leaving a long tail to work with. Insert the hook in the center of the loop, yarn over, and draw up a loop. Yarn over, and pull through to make the first chain (this does not count as a stitch). Continue to crochet over the loop and tail with the number of stitches called for. There are many excellent YouTube videos on how to make a magic circle if you are a visual learner! Always move your stitch marker to the last stitch in the round.
THIS PATTERN IS WORKED IN CONTINUOUS ROUNDS.
