Donald Duck and Daisy Duck Free Crochet Patterns – Easy Amigurumi

For my birthday this year, I was able to go to Disney World for a weekend getaway. After a very stressful few weeks leading up to the trip, with many life changes, I was more than ready for a few days away from everything. Something that I love about Disney World is being able to disconnect from the “real world” even if just for a few hours. There is something about sipping on a fruity drink while walking down the street of Hollywood Studios that makes me feel a sense of peace. On my birthday trip, we had beautiful weather and a wonderful time. As I was leaving Hollywood Studios, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck were hanging out near the entrance to wave me off. I knew when I got home, I had to make my own crochet versions of these cute ducks. I wanted to share them as free patterns so you can make your own to make you or a loved one smile. These patterns are very similar but I wanted to include both instead of just variations of the same pattern.

For this pattern, I used Premier Parfait Chunky yarn (which is my favorite yarn) for a soft pastel look. Click here to get Premier yarn for this project. If you enjoy this pattern, please give me a follow on social media and let me know what other free patterns you would love to see! Happy crocheting πŸ™‚

MATERIALS & TOOLS

  • Yarn: Premier Parfait Chunky (Size 6) For Donald (white, yellow, blue, black, red) For Daisy (white, yellow, pink, purple)
  • Crochet hook (Size 7.0 mm)
  • Polyfil – fiberfill stuffing
  • Felt for face details – black & white
  • Fabric glue
  • Yarn Needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch marker
  • Sewing pins

ABBREVIATIONS

  • CH – chain
  • SC – single crochet
  • INC – single crochet increase (2 SC in each stitch)
  • DEC – decrease (I use the invisible decrease in all of my creations for a cleaner look)
  • HDC – half double crochet
  • DC – double crochet
  • BOBBLE – bobble stitch
  • FO – fasten off
  • Magic ring – Make a loop, leaving a long tail to work with. Insert hook in the center of loop, yarn over, and draw up a loop. Yarn over, pull through to make the first chain (this does not count as a stitch). Continue to crochet over the loop and tail with the number of stitches called for. There are many wonderful YouTube videos on how to make a magic circle if you are a visual learner! Always move your stitch marker to the last stitch in the round.

THIS PATTERN IS WORKED IN CONTINUOUS ROUNDS.
