Stitch Free Crochet Pattern – Amigurumi

When I think of Lilo & Stitch, I think of summertime and relaxing vacations (minus the alien invasion). I especially like the scene where they are surfing and swimming with all the colorful fish. It’s nice to imagine myself there as we are in the midst of a snow storm at home. I think this pattern is my most requested plush to make of all time. I know Stitch is a beloved character so I hope I did him justice!

For this pattern, I used a combination of Sweet Snuggles Lite & Premier Parfait Chunky yarn for a soft pastel look. Click here to get Premier yarn for this project. If you enjoy this pattern, please give me a follow on social media and let me know what other free patterns you would love to see! Happy crocheting 🙂

MATERIALS & TOOLS

ABBREVIATIONS

  • CH – chain
  • SC – single crochet
  • INC – single crochet increase (2 SC in each stitch)
  • DEC – decrease (I use the invisible decrease in all of my creations for a cleaner look)
  • DC – DOUBLE CROCHET
  • HDC – HALF DOUBLE CROCHET
  • FO – fasten off
  • Magic ring – Make a loop, leaving a long tail to work with. Insert hook in the center of loop, yarn over, and draw up a loop. Yarn over, pull through to make the first chain (this does not count as a stitch). Continue to crochet over the loop and tail with the number of stitches called for. There are many wonderful YouTube videos on how to make a magic circle if you are a visual learner! Always move your stitch marker to the last stitch in the round.

THIS PATTERN IS WORKED IN CONTINUOUS ROUNDS.
