Tigger Free Crochet Pattern – Easy Amigurumi

If you’re a fan of the Winnie the Pooh series, you’ll love this step-by-step pattern on how to crochet your own Tigger plush! With just a few materials and some basic crochet skills, you can create your own cuddly and adorable Tigger. As you probably know by now, I have always been a Winnie the Pooh fan, even growing up with a Hundred Acre Woods-themed bedroom. I have loved making my own versions of my favorite characters as amigurumi plushes. So far I have made Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet & now Tigger! All four of these patterns can be found for free on my blog, so you can make your own Pooh and pals. These patterns are beginner-friendly and the plushes make great gifts for little ones (just remember not to use safety eyes if you give crochet toys to small children).

For this pattern, I used Premier Parfait Chunky yarn (my favorite yarn) for a soft pastel look. Click here to get Premier yarn for this project. If you enjoy this pattern, please give me a follow on social media and let me know what other free patterns you would love to see! Crocheting your own Tigger plush is a fun and rewarding project that will bring a smile to any Winnie the Pooh fan’s face. With a little bit of patience and practice, you can create your own customized Tigger that will be a cherished addition to your collection. Happy crocheting 🙂

MATERIALS & TOOLS

ABBREVIATIONS

  • CH – chain
  • SC – single crochet
  • INC – single crochet increase (2 SC in each stitch)
  • DEC – decrease (I use the invisible decrease in all of my creations for a cleaner look)
  • FO – fasten off
  • Magic ring – Make a loop, leaving a long tail to work with. Insert the hook in the center of the loop, yarn over, and draw up a loop. Yarn over, and pull through to make the first chain (this does not count as a stitch). Continue to crochet over the loop and tail with the number of stitches called for. There are many wonderful YouTube videos on how to make a magic circle if you are a visual learner! Always move your stitch marker to the last stitch in the round.

THIS PATTERN IS WORKED IN CONTINUOUS ROUNDS.
